Hostelworld Group Plc, headquartered in Dublin and listed on both the Dublin and London Exchanges, operates a platform focused on budget hostel bookings. Established in 2015, it has grown to become a leading player in its niche.

In January 2024, Hostelworld solidified that the company had rebounded post-pandemic, reporting revenues of €93.7 million for 2023, marking a historic high and a remarkable 32% increase from 2022. Net bookings also rose to 6.5 million, a 37% year-on-year rise.

Our HSW.L report tracks this Net Bookings KPI with an error rate of 2.2% in 2023-H2, and 0.6% in the previous half year. With data spanning back to July 2020, the report captures Hostelworld’s performance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic which not only significantly impacted the number of bookings, but also the cancellation rates.
